What Is CodeMark™?
CodeMark™ is a building product certification scheme set up by the Australian Building Codes Board. Building products and systems displaying the CodeMark logo have been assessed that they comply with the relevant sections of the Building Code of Australia (BCA). The certification is accepted everywhere in Australia providing peace of mind to building professionals and consumers alike.
CodeMark™ takes the traditional testing of building products a step further by focusing on three dimensions: manufacturing, testing and installation.
• CodeMark™ certification is available for products needed to comply with the BCA.
• CodeMark™ certification is delivered by an independent organisation and is based on a (or a number of) test reports issued by an Approved Laboratory.
• The ongoing factory site surveillance activities allow for monitoring of design change or competence change.
